I made this gown last year, but didn't wear it until a week and a half ago. The underskirt is the TV201 pattern, the overskirt is the wash overskirt and the bodice is a modified polonaise.

Steampunk gown
This one I made last month. I was given an embroiderymachine for my birthday and of course I had to use it. And because I found some great steampunk designs, I had to make something steampunk. This time I couldn't come up with a victorian gown that I liked, so I decided to do something more casual (assuming you think corsets are casual :D).
The front of the corset is embroidered with a steampunk spider and is made of thin pvc. The sides are made of black & white striped canvas which I dyed dark brown. I used the same dye for the skirt, which is also made of striped canvas but with a wider stripe. For the ruffles on the back, the overskirt and the shrug I also used the thin pvc.

First post!
First post with a picture of my first finished gown of this year: an elizabethan gown in black velvet and black/gold cross brocade.
